We kicked off at the beginning of the year. Things have been going pretty well; we have members spanning 60 countries, and have also been voted best website by both UNESCO Global Alliance for Cultural Diversity and the Social Enterprise Coalition...
Thanks to everyone for their feedback since our launch; we are gradually improving the site so that it will now be easier to meet people. We have also made it simpler to upload your photo onto your profile page – so if you haven't put one up yet, now's the time to do it. It really helps.

 i-genius world summit in Thailand
We are making preparations for the i-genius world summit in Thailand. The date will be confirmed within the next few weeks and full details, including participant's fee, will be sent out in June. The event will be held over four days at the stunning eco-friendly Indigo Pearl Hotel in Phuket. The summit will focus on 1) developing networks and partnerships 2) communicating your work and 3) raising finance. If you would like to register you interest please e-mail team@i-genius.org
Interested in becoming an i-genius ambassador? We have ambassadors in China, Columbia, India, Mauritius, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sierra Leone and the USA. The role is not a particularly taxing duty but these people are helping to promote i-genius to increase the diversity of our members. To find out more about getting involved, contact team@i-genius.org.
What's happening with you? We are always looking to feature new members, blogs and news on our homepage. Although we can't guarantee coverage, if things are happening with you or your organisation that you would like others to know about, please submit to team@i-genius.org.
Win an i-pod... i-genius is giving a free i-pod to a lucky winner who encourages a new member to join. Simply e-mail a friend and copy in team@i-genius.org and if he/she joins you will go into the draw for the prize. The more of your friends who join, the greater your chances of winning!
It's not all good! – we have had two incidences of people who have signed up to i-genius and tried to contact members in what we suspect could be fraudulent activities. We have terminated their membership. Please contact team@i-genius.org if you suspect any abuse.
Look forward to hearing from you!
Until next time...
The i-genius team
