from Almaty to Shanghai

Almaty, 31st October – 1st November
The International Academy of Business celebrated its 25th anniversary by hosting a Entrepreneurship and Business Education in Emerging World conference in Almaty attended by over 300 academics and business school practitioners from many countries in central Asia plus Russia, USA, Portugal, China and UK. i-genius’ Tommy Hutchinson delivered a workshop on social entrepreneurship and moderated a plenary.

Shanghai, 6-8th November
i-genius co-hosted a conference on Scaling up in China in Shanghai with the International Centre for Social Franchising, Dialogue in the Dark (China), FYSE, BSR which kicked off with a i-genius Cafe at the Kasling Cafe and founder Tommy Hutchinson ran a session on managing risk. Discussions are already underway for a follow up event in Chengdu 2014.
