Emerging Curator Competition

Artsy and the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation are hosting an Emerging Curator Competition for undergraduate and graduate students, and as one of the select group of outlets helping to promote this competition, i-genius would love our budding social entrepreneurs to apply. The winner gets to curate a physical exhibition of Rauschenberg’s work at her/his institution/campus — which presents an awesome opportunity for a young curator.

This is a world-wide competition with the goal of having contemporary art accessible to anyone. We think this is a great opportunity for young social entrepreneurs who want to change the art world.

The competition is intended to foster a new generation of curators by providing online access to digital resources and collections, including works by Robert Rauschenberg, as well as to explore new curatorial perspectives, scholarship, and dialogues on art. The competition is open to all eligible undergraduate students, graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows around the world. Competition closes October 20, 2014.
