TSEO Study Tour on Social Impact Investment to the UK
The Cabinet Office, the Social Stock Exchange, RBS and Divine Chocolate were just some of the 30 UK organisations engaged in social entrepreneurship and investment the 14 member delegation met with during their five day social investment tour in London. The group convened by TSEO was able to learn from the UK’s experience of establishing and increasing access to social finance to support the creation of a more inclusive economy and address social and environmental issues at the same time.
The i-genius led UK visit with the British Council was an opportunity for senior figures in the Thai government, academia and business communities to meet government ministers, senior civil servants and UK companies to discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with creating a strong climate for social investment and responsible business.
