Happy New Year!
Following on from the success of the World Entrepreneur Summit in January 2008, we are organising another World Entrepreneur Summit on March 20th 2009. This is a one-day event focused on addressing some of the key issues that are keeping the world's entrepreneurs awake at night in the current climate. This might be access to finance, access to mentoring and coaching, managing the business as it grows, managing cashflow and profitability as the climate tightens or managing people through uncertain times.
As always, our focus is on promoting the role that entrepreneurs play in stimulating sustainable economic development. At no time in recent economic history has the entrepreneur been more important in helping the world address the economic, social and environmental challenges that it faces. From the smallest social enterprise in sub-Saharan Africa through to global corporations, entrepreneurs are the world's change agents and will enable us to pull through.
This inspiring and international event will put entrepreneurs of all types together with investors, business support professionals and agencies, large and small companies, coaches, mentors and policy and academic experts with a view to accessing the financial and network support that will provide entrepreneurs with platforms to change the world. Additionally we will be
1. Launching the World Entrepreneur Society (WES)
2. Launching the WES online Forum and Academy
3. Announcing the results of our first competition to find the world's Make-A-Difference (MAD) entrepreneurs.
4. Holding speed networking, speed pitching, open-space and "think tank" sessions on the day.
The event takes place on the 20th March 2009 at Goodenough College, London. To find out more and to book your place please go to www.wes2009.eventbrite.com. There are just 250 places available, so book early!
If you would like to speak to us about the MAD competition, sponsorship, hosting a fringe event or breakfast, or taking one of the exhibition stands, please reply to this invite or email info@delteconomics.com.
With very best wishes
Rebecca
