New Delta research on social entrepreneurship
posted on Thursday, July 10, 2008 03:36 PM
Did you know: Women are as likely as men to be social entrepreneurs but only half as likely as men to be mainstream entrepreneurs?
Did you know: Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic groups are between 2 and 2 1/2 times as likely to be social entrepreneurs than their mainstream counterparts?
Did you know: Young men between the ages of 18 and 24 are the most likely of any age or gender group to be setting up a business with social goals?
Delta Economics is proud to announce the latest research report on social entrepreneurship launched on the 9th July at the Social Enterprise Coalition's event on Black and Minority Ethnic social enterprises. It's the final report in association with Barclays Bank and GEM and so it reviews what we have learned about social enterprise and social entrepreneurship over the last five years and looks at the "where next" questions for research, policy and the sector itself.

I am very much interested in reading that report. I already knew the first two stats, but the last one was interesting. Definitely we live in a modern world where the roles have reversed. The young are now leading the old. Could you send me the report via e-mail: barry@i-genius.org
