Introducing the link...
HEALTHCARE LINK is a not-for-profit community investment social enterprise and medical relief redistribution agency, dedicated to a two-fold mission of environmental stewardship, and improving health in Africa.
HEALTHCARE LINK provides a commercial scale, environmentally responsible ‘disposal’ and donation route, collecting and redistributing unused medical supplies, surplus equipment & furnishings reclaimed from the UK/EUHealthcare systems and supply chains . We collaborate with U.K hospitals, medical supply industry companies and recycling partners to redirect this useful material away from the waste stream to, global health efforts that serve the poorest segments of the population in Zimbabwe, Malawi, DR Congo and Sierra Leone.
Through our SPONSOR-A-CONTAINER-OF-HOPE Programme, HEALTHCARE LINK joins with corporate ,foundation and individuals as partners , each with a shared commitment to assist in C.C.R (Corporate Citizenship Responsibility) and targeted development projects in Africa. We provide a unique collaborative platform to sponsor the assembly and delivery of a 40” ocean shipping containers with medical supplies and equipment. Whether your company is doing business internationally, has employees or customers from outside the U.K, or simply has an interest in a particular community abroad, HEALTHCARE LINK can assist your organisation in delivering a donation that will change and save lives.
Equally important to the amount of material we help divert from the waste stream through RE-USE, is HEALTHCARE LINK’s acceptance of all legal liability for ALL donated equipment and supplies on receipt. This is fortified by the care we take to send recipients only items they can readily use.
