Call 4 Volunteers

Crime always brings down a nation. Nigeria has had its fair share. Corruption and fraud had been the other of the day in the past; the present administration at all cost is trying to sanitize the system. This will require input from every Nigerian to bring the country to its former glory. Yet, certain ‘bad eggs’ want to thwart our efforts. A peculiar group is the Internet fraudsters otherwise known as “yahoo – yahoo”. The “Yahooists” (perpetrators, usually young men and women between ages 13 to 40 with an itch to get rich quick at all cost) defraud unsuspecting individuals (mostly people in the developed countries) of their hard earned money using various scam techniques with the Internet as the medium of interaction.

The Youth Against Cyber Crimes and Fraud In Nigeria is a youth-led organization committed to fighting this menace.

Call for Volunteers

We are in need of young Nigerians who are not comfortable with the level fraudulent practices in our cyber space,to join our team in spreading the campaign across Lagos, Ogun and Oyo states through the following programmes:

· Secondary School visitation within Ikeja Local Government, Ibadan, Abeokuta and Ago – Iwoye environments.
· Visitation of religious organizations in Lagos and Oyo State respectively
· Youth Associations in Unilag, University of Ibadan, Ibadan Poly and Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago – Iwoye.
· Debate and Quiz on cyber crimes within Lagos state
· Monitor clubs in the secondary school
