Teachers, Please dont strike again

It is indeed troubling, how governments of Nigeria have been adamant to the plights of teachers. I read a placard by one of the protesting teachers, it read WE TEACH YOU STOP CHEATING US. I felt touched, because the major benefeciaries of teachers are the people in helm of affairs.
I do not intend to divulge. But there are a lot to write on why teachers must not strike again. Each time I visit a cyber cafe or other public places were internet facilities are available, i see young people of secondary school age perpetrating fraud online, this are young people who should be in classrooms studying. They are wasting away the best of their time. One may say that, they are making the best use of their time, whilst i totally disagree with this is that there is a better way young people can use their time. Fraud is totally destroying them and creating a worst world for us all. Its harm it tremendous.
I wish we had an online trading and training centre, I wish we had youth centres in every local government in Nigeria, I wish we had a resource centre, I wish and I wish there are ways we can better help this young people, I wish and i only wish our Government listens and try her best not to let teachers strike again. If not, some of the young people who are just joining others in perpetrating internet fraud and other cybercrimes would increase the number of perpetrators and then do more harm in our various societies, since we are in a global village.

Fraud is very popular amongst the youth and is indeed a tremendous harm to local, national, and global communities. And I agree, I don't believe teacher strikes is the best method of 'union' protests, because it just means the youth get free time on their hands. Education is vital to their development as young adults and for the understand of the world around them. I've never been one to support teacher strikes.
