Will 2012 be a happy new year?

Last year I sent 6,201 emails which is more than double the number I sent the year before. Not sure what this tells me; either we are busier or I have become less efficient in my communications. Either way, I wonder how many I will have sent before 2012 is over.

I normally don’t like January. The weather is cold and grey and everything seems to have not quite got started. But this year I am feeling strangely different, almost excited! The three big projects we are working on is the Asia Summit in Bangkok, 1st-2nd March, a new online platform for i-genius Academy which will be pretty revolutionary, and the 2nd i-genius World Summit in London, just after the Olympic and Paralympics.

We are also working on a host of other projects covering interesting parts of the world but it is too early to say more about these.

The World economy, especially in the West, is not in good shape. This could be the year that social entrepreneurship and social businesses raise their head and begin to really prove their contribution. Let’s see.
