Learning, Learning, Learning

Very excited about our new Learning channel. The aim is for all members to contribute their knowledge and ideas around a subject so everyone can learn from each other. The more diverse the contributions and cultural insights, the better.
So much of traditional learning is based on absorbing information from some teacher or 'expert'. Useful as this can be, we believe it is better if we can pool our member's knowledge and draw from individual experiences and expertises. So we have created a space where everyone can both learn and teach at the same time.
At school, I failed my maths O'level/GSCE exam and would have failed the resit again had it not been for my best friend sitting down with me the night before and going through the sample questions. I learnt far more from him that evening than listening to teachers over the previous years. Why? Because we took each question step-by-step at my own pace and i found it easier to listen to him one-to-one than in a full class room. I hope he learnt somethings from me too.
