Busy at the mom...">www.wes08.net where we will be hosting three sessions whcih will help define what the Commission should examine.

The World Commission will look at the relationship between financiers eg banks and social entrepreneurs and looking particularly at the level of mutual understanding, and what barriers be they structural, cultural or communication that lies between them.

We plan to not only produce a report, but also a set of universal principles which we hope will help shape future policy development plus a toolkit to aide better understanding.

The World Commission will take approximately a year to complete its work and will also be hosting sessions at the i-genius Summit in Thailand.

Hope you will get involved and submit your thoughts and idea.

My particular interest is prompted by Muhammad Yunus. What relationships will it take for a city to start forming a stockmarket around his definition of social business. His new book provides insight on how attempts to change world sustainability without changing capitalism have been doomed. He provides simple ways in which budding activists can rehearse whether they may be up for the more of sustaining a social business model. But ultimately the test of a city - and its collaborative capability to start changing capitalism - depends on the attention it invests in social businesses, celebrating their successes for humanity, and ultimately developing a stockmarket certifying them
