Junkk.com matchmakes people who have ways to improve our environmental situation with those looking for them. For free. At its core is a database of specifications and ideas that you can search to find reuses of everyday products and packaging, in a fun way. Plus a few other bits and bobs folk are finding handy for repair, reduction, and recycling. The site is currently run by me. I am a creative soul, and all aspects that I am good at are working gangbusters. We’re getting great PR and editorial, and the general public is signing up in their droves. We have crested 120k+ monthly views and the new newsletter is getting more and more registered sign-ups. But there’s so much more to be done to make it even better and work as a business. For this I need more money (or some unpaid help to start), and to get that I need sponsors (so we can earn a living). And some complementary skill-sets to help me where I am weak, especially making it a sustainable business. Guys in sales, marketing and schmoozing with guys who wear suits, especially from the government, local authority and NGO/funding sectors. STOP PRESS! I recently won one of the top awards (Gold with Jury Congratulations) for a second use packaging design, the RE:tie. This has tremendous potential for application on billions of bottles and jars, and in the spirit of Junkk.com is a way to help save the planet... AND make soem money. But I am in need of, and more than keen to work with others in compelement to bring this to commercial reality,
