For the second year TMA will be volunteering time and photographic services towards keeping Pride London free for all.

Pride London is run almost entirely by volunteers, as it should be. So, if you can please join us! It's all good!

Throughout the year the charity recruit in all areas, and there’s something for everyone; from helping to organize floats, to the women’s stage, or be one of the hundreds of stewards that helps out on Parade day, meeting tons of interesting people in the process.

And for those of you that believe size really does matter (it does!), here are some of Pride London vital statistics:

Pride London 2008 will be the largest Pride event in the UK with an estimated audience attendance of over half a million.

London was voted the number one city in The Boho Britain Creativity Index, ranking as the bohemian capital of the UK - one of the indicators being an active and vibrant LGBT community

In 2006 London Europride attracted over 600,000 people to the diverse events of the festival

In 2007 42% of our visitors were female and 57% male. 88% of visitors were in the 16 - 44 age group. Pride London attracts visitors from the UK, Europe and the USA and the estimated spend by gay visitors to the UK is over £3 billion

Over 600 top UK and international media attended Pride London in 2007

The size of the UK LGBT population is now estimated to be at approximately 6 million.
