Basic concepts in Palliative Care workshop in Jerusalem 2-5 Nov 2009

AlSadeel Society participated with the National Cancer Institute of America and the Middle East Cancer Consortium in organizing a four days workshop in basics of palliative care for cancer patients. The workshop was attended by health professionals from Palestine and Israel and lecturers from the United States of America. The workshop was held in Shaaret Seidek Hospital in Jerusalem.

Dr. Musa Awadalla Finished One month(Moday,May10toFriday,June 04,2010) training in San Diego Hospice & the Institute for Palliative Medicine (IPM) in San Diego, California. The International Visiting Scholars program at the Institute for Palliative Medicine (IPM) is modeled after IPM’s program to train US Medical Residents in palliative care. It enables physicians who received their medical training outside North America to receive classroom and bedside training in the core knowledge and skills of palliative care. It will also provide an overview of a comprehensive palliative care program that serves a large geographic region with a population of 3.2 million people. .
