EXECUTIVE SUMMARY Young minds Organization, is an non-governmental, non-political and non-religious Organization that creates opportunities that empower the youths and the grassroots through Business and Community Development, Awareness Creation for better Leadership and Governance, and Mitigating the impacts of HIV/AIDS for a healthy globalized society and environmental sustainability. Being a youth based NGO, make the Organization very unique and assessable to the target group. Seeing that record has it that youths occupies approximately 75% of the Nation’s population. Bearing in mind that the prosperity of every nation falls on the shoulders of the young people, the Organization came on board to create a platform for the youths in the following areas: Mentoring, Advocacy, Empowerment and Capacity Building. The organization has a strong domestic presence with a very extensive clients base and the most comprehensive service rendering network with other local NGOs and youth based Organizations. Our Empowerment Seminar: One of our channels of reaching these objectives is through our youth focused monthly empowerment seminar/workshop, titled: (Youths with Difference) a platform through which we distribute our motivational magazine called YOUNGMIND DIGEST that covers Biographies as inspirational piece, Political Issues, Health talks and a lot more. Our goals and Objectives: To help the youth discover and fulfill the destiny. To restore the dignity of youthfulness. To create a platform for youths from difference endeavors of life to share ideas and strengthen one another. To make available relevant capacity building materials to the youths. This seminar is intended to run on a monthly basis, however this will be determined on the abilities of sponsorship and grants.
