interview with i-genius

i-genius asked Michal Golas about work to protect the interests of artists and how Poland has changed in recent years.
i-genius: what is TAKEME?
Michal: TAKEME is a paper & on-line magazine which promotes young creators including designers, fashion designers, architects, photographers, graphic designers. It's also an idea of connecting their art with some open source features to facilitate promotion and legalize the free use of their work.
i-genius: you work with two others. Do you work well as a team?
Michal: We know each other well. Each of us has his own part of job to do. That's why we know what we may expect from each other.
i-genius: what do you argue about?
Michal: Usually we argue while choosing place where we want to go to have a beer. Sometimes it's really hard.
i-genius: what kind of art do you most like?
Michal: I like useful art. That means I like art which makes life easier. Furniture design, graphic design, fashion, photography. I like everything that TAKEME may consist of.
i-genius: Poland has gone through so much change in the past couple of decades. Is it a good place to be a social entrepreneur?
Michal: It's not easy - but necessary. Social entrepreneurs often have to face the lack of trust in society. But I've got to admit it's getting better all the time :)
i-genius: Thank you!

TAKEME sounds very interesting. A small stone in a pond but with powerful outward ripples.
