My background is in design, strategy, urban planning and anthropology and I have worked as a design strategy consultant and entrepreneur in the US and Denmark with a focus on developing creative solutions to intractable social problems. Projects have ranged from kickstarting public private partnerships for welfare reform in Denmark for an aging demographic, strategic research on why Americans are so overweight for a pharma company, helping a San Francisco carshare (car club) organization figure out their process flow and core IT needs, use case scenarios for a shared-use, folding electric scooter design with Piaggio and the MIT Media Lab. I\'m particularly interested in sustainability, especially transportation projects: carsharing (UK: car clubs), ridesharing (UK: car share), biking, the intersection of transportation and technology (eg, mobile services, internet in cars), and electric vehicles/smart grids more or less in that order of interest. Would love to connect to other like minded folks to work on projects together!
