So my first blog arrives and more than beyond time. Im Nick Oram-Tooley, based around the capital and full of good stuff that at some point in my time i would like to create and turn in to actual doing.

I know this site due to having worked with Tommy before at Kikass and i am now training to be a primary school teacher after needing a change of scenery and a new challenge.

What am I about? i suppose first and foremost what i am about is encouraging social good and social action (especially when it comes to young people) primarily through fun! How this manifests itself though i am not quite sure yet!

I'd really like to take a more life-skills and confidence approach into the classroom as i think there are so many core skills that, if armed with, young people could set this world alight with creativity and genius. At the moment my feeling is the seepage of this genius from young people is minimal.

Im also keen to filter some of this more exciting and problem solving thinking into youth culture through some type of all engaging publication or media based project. Generally therefore making a solutions focused approach far easier to connect with in a world that seems to struggle with that!

The key to my thinking is that new generations and this one as far as possible needs to link into reality and responsibility more and stop hiding away from it or living with blinkers on. A lot more will get achieved in a social good sense when having the skills and general want and desire to embrace and be open to the world. To simply take clucking responsibility for all that we/you do and are. It's a far more exciting place to be. Does that make sense? yeah i know it's nothing ground breaking but in my next blog i'll break this down a bit more.

Until then...be good and be good at it!
