BrightSpark!

BrightSpark is a Milestone project I have had a passion about for a number of years now. BrightSpark focuses on encouraging students through mentoring, scholarships and internships into S.T.E.M focused careers.

S.T.E.M stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Although I never pursued a career in Science or Maths I am mad about technology, and love encouraging youth to take part in this career path.

How can we change the developing world?
How do we fight diseases, like cancer, alzheimers, sickle cell anemia?
How can we ethically make the world a better place for my children and their children?

These are the questions which kicked of my interest and made me wish to encourage students into these career paths. Working in partnership with other organisations who have the same focus.

There is so much that can be done in this area, and I often get thrown that chemistry labs, physics schools, etc. have been shut down in universities around the country. So what more can be done to encourage students into this field? what partnerships can be formed?

Well that is what I intend to find out........
