First Business Platform of the world for young people

Dear Ladies/Gentlemen,
Established with the motto “Incorporating education into experience”, Young Business Platform is a new community for young people. Purpose of the platform is support young people to have a good position in their business life. Within taking the platform’s programs, they will have both theoretical and experiential information so they will affect growth of Turkish economy and companies. As the platform, we believe youth is an opportunity that its cost is paid during life so we would like to help young people to have a benefit from this opportunity.
Mission: To encourage young people to put business life concept in their high priorities and to show them that their future is under their hands.
Vision: To stimulate young people to worry for a high standard life instead of unemployment. Within this way, they will be confident about future and this helps economic growth rate to increase.
Before found the platform, we did various researches. One of them is “Investing in Turkey’s Next Generation: The School to Work Transition and Turkey’s Development” written by The World Bank. It is said that the school preparation unfortunately is not sufficient.

Another important point is that, young people would like to enter the business life.
When there is a demand for business life in the young people, we should supply it.
HOW WE INCORPORATE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE?
We incorporate education and experience in three steps. These steps are;
First step:
 The business people will tell their experience. Also, they will explain when they face with obstacles in their business life, how they solve them. All of them will be recorded by video camera.
 Then, we will publish these videos on the Young Business Platform’s official web site.

Creating the groups
Writing reports&projects
Presenting them to relevant business people
Appling them to business life
Second step:
 Our members will be asked if you faced with those problems, how you would solve them. Then, they will write reports&projects.
 These reports&projects will be written as a group. Within this way, we will develop our members’ team work skills.
 Finally, we will review them and provide detailed feedback.
Third step:
 According to feedback, we will invite our members who write a feasible reports&projects to present them to relevant business people.
 Then, business people will make a decision. If it is a positive decision, reports&projects will apply to business life and their writers will be rewarded.
As a final step, our members who are successful will have an opportunity for have an internship according to companies’ internship capacities.
