Check out YouthNoise beginning next week as we focus attention on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Over the next month or so we will be highlighting each Article in the Declaration and informing young people about this amazing (and under-recognized) document. We want to inform young people in America and around the world about the rights that enshrined in what is arguably the most important international document of the 20th century. Many young (and older) people don't have any idea of what is spelled out in the Declaration, and how nearly every country on Earth violates one or more of the Articles. If all signatories to the Declaration actually FOLLOWED it, our world would be a much different place!
