The design brief was to design & make a light for a particular purpose or person. I wanted adrenaline seekers like skydivers to use my design but I thought that it should aid someone in their job & felt that fire fighters were the best choice.
I designed my light for fire fighters because the intensity of the job & they risk their lives every time they enter a burning building. I designed a sphere called "THE FIREBALL" which the underside has a weight system, which would make the fireball always stop rolling on the underside of the fireball where the light switch is located. The fire fighter would roll it into a room or down a pathway which would then disperse a light in the vicinity in which the FIREBALL had landed because of the weight bearing on the switch.
