Fleeting Memories!

As summer approaches I have fleeting memories of my time in Japan. World poverty, terrorism and global warming seemed like some surreal outside movie world that truly never really exists within the everyday mindset of Japanese society. But within every society, we can find beauty and peace, no matter how closed, unaware or narrow-minded it may be.
But yet, life is merely a collection memories come and gone forever existing within the present now. Imagination can set even the most abused mind free!
Here are two English Haiku poems for you:
Tanbo/Rice Fields
Time slows down...peaceful
Tanbo sway light in the breeze
Dragonflies hover
