My President Declares His Asset

"For the first time in the history of Nigeria, a sitting president has made his asset declaration public. President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua, in fulfilling a promise he made earlier to the nation, yesterday released for public knowledge details of his assets declaration as contained in Form CCB1 submitted to the Code of Conduct Bureau as demanded by the Fifth Schedule of the Constitution."

This may not be a surprise to you,but it is for us.And as a matter of fact it is good one for our young democracy and for the fight against corruption in Nigeria.

I believe so much in my country.The "terrors and Horrors" of our leaders past can not stop us from moving forward.
