TECHNOLOGY BANE OR BOON

TECHNOLOGY BANE OR BOON I just wonder how technology works on a general perspective, but I guess it work quite well and gave most of us a more positive impression in the aspect of productivity and on how it made our life easier in the present. I agree that modernity has made all things are possible and has turn the world upside down. Before these impossibilities are just a tale in the comic books or sci-fi films that we can see only on television or movies or available on pocketbooks, but as we can see the Teenage Ninja Turtles, Voltez V or the robots seen in children channels and others were not anymore a tale to imagine but a living proof or genetics and science. Technology has made huge construction built in an instant, can make the childless bore children even the barren or the woman without a husband can have healthy offspring. Technology and science can now create and support life by providing us our need daily and support the kind of lifestyle we have. It can also make us close to perfection that most people desires through cosmetic and artificial surgery, medicine or medical treatment and the like. On the other way around, it can also cause destruction or even death like a virus that can kill five times like an atomic bomb and destroy this planet by throwing back the thrash from what it has created to support our living. I just notice that onwards year 2000 the campaign towards wellness, protection of the environment, recycling and other advocacy on teaching healthy lifestyle and environmentalism gave birth and has successfully influence our generation today. We are much aware of its effect and what it could do the next generation and for my point of view, the transition of its effect is drastically felt for most places and could I say more? Truly life is beautiful yet as we journey everyday we are faced with challenging circumstances as a consequence. Facing with these truths, what is then this techno logy to us? A blessing from God and an asset of our time or is it a karma, a downfall for changing the system?

However, technology can not give us love! I agree with you... since the year 2000 mankind\'s conciousness has shifted dramatically as we have now entered the aquatic age (a time for spiritual and mind development and transgression). More and more young people now are feed up with the world, and more and more young people now are actually getting out there to do something about it....The Mayans already predicted this...it is apparently in the year 2012 that a real spiritual grand awakening will begin! It will be our last chance (within this century) to return to our appreciation to nature and peoples, and not skyscrappers and cars. Barry ^^

No one is perfect as well as what man has created. Technology might give us leisure and for some “life” that they become paralyze without it but no matter how much it serves us, it will never satisfy our heart\'s desire or will give us love. Our generation have generated knowledge and beyond from discoveries, researches and the like and because we have the need, we desire to be fed and it is not only about mental food but also emotional and spiritual to nourishment that we continue on working it out. It is not anymore surprising that there will be a great awakening and I believe that it flourishes already in different parts of the world that life is not only on material things but on things felt and experienced. If it is a bane or a boon? I think it\'s both and in this issue, different people will have different perspective on this issue ~ Technology vs. Spirituality.

Thoughtful subject indeed... bane or boon, we shall find out in years to come.
