Since the 1970s, I have wanted to be committed to working in green industry. Since the 1980s, I have wanted to work in artificial intelligence and robotics. Since the 19990s, I have wanted to do further work in linguistics. And since the 2000s, I have wanted to help rebuild United States industry, but in a responsible way.
I have lived in South America as well as Europe. So my goal is to take the best ideas and developments, and apply them to an impoverished community in my own country. Braddock is the poorest village in Pennsylvania, and is located in the second oldest county in the nation (elderly residents). Braddock has everything against it, but for a social entrepreneur, it has everything going for it!
I hope to work with the mayor of Braddock to rebuild the village into a mecca of green business and sustainable lifestyle. If successful, this could serve as a model for other urban enclaves in the USA.
In the process of rebuilding Braddock and our national economy, I would like to put intelligent machinery to work to cleaning up our planet. We can no longer wait for some power to fix it for us, we must do it ourselves at the grass roots. Having power tools available locally could help a lot; micro-grids, smart grids, local power generation, and affordable, personal robotics to help get the dirty, dull, and dangerous jobs done.
