I am focused on exploration and education. Exploration is uniquely placed to tackle the twin issues of cultural conflict and the environment. I work to get more young people into exploration; to create youth expeditions that target key global issues; and use technology to get video, images and other information from the field to the classroom via satellite. The hard part...

I imagine like many social entrepreneurs, the hardest part is finding that little bit of support to get going properly. I have managed to raise over £70,000 for projects over the past 2 years, but I am still looking for that little bit that I can use to develop branding, online information and back office stuff.
It's tough!
Any ideas welcome.

Hi Jamie. iNOMAD looks really interesting and quite unique. Well done in raising £70,000 and I think all social entrepreneurs share your experiences in finding it difficult. In a few weeks time we plan to publish a short guide to raising sponsorship and hope other members will then share their own experiences and suggestions. Raising finance will also be a major focus at our world summit in Thailand which i hope you will be able to attend. Good luck!
