Full text of interview by i-genius editor on hopes, dreams, fears and resolutions for 2009

1. Was 2008 a good year for you?
Yes brilliant! I made tremendous progress in my outreach work both locally and internationally, and my teaching, while still being fortunate to visit with friends and see new places such as Nairobi and Bristol, also. It was an unbelievable year actually!

2. What are you trying to achieve in 2009?
Stability as it relates to my work in the emerging field of Human Capital Development! I know that might be a lot to ask, since as I said it is an emerging field, but I am hoping to find my grounding, my special niche as it is, so that I can co-ordinate my development work with my home life, which also is quite important to me. So a great achievement will be that I maintained very solid health and happiness and contributed to human wellbeing in a meaningful way, in 2009.

3. What is your New Years resolution?
To be peace. I want to be in acceptance of the world and be guided unresistingly to make my contribution where it is required. I desire to not rush any decision and to let things happen in the Universe’s Time. I want to relax in 2009!

4. What do you think is the most important social political or economic issue facing the world at present [eg climate change, conflict in middle east, poverty etc]?
I think the abuse of human rights is far above all other social, political or economic issues presently, because the result is that a very small number of persons hold the lives and wellbeing of such great numbers in their hands, which is unjust and totally disempowering. We need all hands on deck to effectively pursue the challenges that the world is facing, but a respect for human life and wellbeing will be critical first and foremost. There’s still too much emphasis on personal gain and too little on overall happiness and satisfaction in our world right now…
