This month at HQ2

It is with pleasure that I feature three quite impressive journeys on the HQ2 website for the month of January.
The first is in fact a book by Hal Manogue entitled 'Short Sleeves Insights: live an ordinary life in a non-ordinary way'.
Hal has always impressed me with his willingness to look at his 'inner workings', even recognising the fears and the pulls to 'hide away' from harsh truths, but still to keep on working. He recognises the continuing process of self development that is life and embraces the wisdom of several sages as he walks continuously, openly, along his Path.
I am yet to tire of Hal's writings which he continues regularly on his Short Sleeves blog.
Please follow this link for more details on Hal's book and to purchase a copy if you will.
The second feature is a blog, but not just any weblog, it is a road trip extraordinaire being undertaken by two very special individuals who have decided to find their new ideal home by literally, 'hitting the road'.
Both Mary Rives and Keith Carlson are strongly challenged by environmental circumstances and conditions and, rather than continue to 'lie down and take it', they have taken the ball in their hands and set out with a faith-based plan to find their peace on this Earth.
I feel it is lovely that they have chosen to share their journey with all of us, as it's inspiration for any persons faced with such challenges and brings hope in challenging times.
At this link is Mary and Keith's blog which is called 'Mary and Keith's Excellent Adventure'. For certain you will not be bored with this travelogue anytime soon, since Mary and Keith insist on bringing the humour to their travels and the natural beauty of both people and surroundings along their way.
The third outstanding journey I am pleased to highlight this month is by a real daredevil, Annie Linnea Sherwood who has taken an incredible journey from relative comfort in her home country, all the way to Spain and North Africa without a plan, just following her heart, leading to three years of incredible revelations, now documented in 'The Journey of the Jewel', a wonderful self-publication and inspiration to especially women but of great educational value to men as well.
More details on Annie's book can be found at this link.
At a time when we are all taking our individual journeys with heightened awareness, it is encouraging to recognise others that have been walking their path and that are willing to share their learnings with us.
Feel free to purchase from and/or communicate directly with any of these authors via their various websites and weblogs.
I am certain you will be refreshed with their authentic presence!
With sincere blessings,
Sherrilene M. Collymore
