Berlin is famous for its liberal approach to life. And in keeping with this tradition, one of its brothel’s has found an interesting way to help its customers during the recession, win more business for its girls and do something for the environment. Maison d’Envie is offering a 5 euro discount on their 70 euro price to customer who arrive by bicycle or public transport. The scheme is an apparent success with its owner, Thomas Goetz claiming to get up to five new customers per day. Buts it’s not only business, which is legal in Germany, that is booming. Traffic and parking congestion is eased and a little bit is chipped off the cities carbon footprint too.
