EU Conventional Lightbulbs Out, Bad Health Issues In!

you just can't win in the hunt for eco-friendliness
The EU-wide ban from September 1st of incandescent light bulbs will see a significant rise in the number of people suffering from symptoms of electrical sensitivity, such as recurrent headaches, migraines, depression, disturbed sleep, stress and skin problems. On the plus side, if there is one after reading the previous sentence, the energy-efficient bulbs are up to 75% efficient and could save the average EU-household a lovely 50 Euros per year.
The ban stops the manufacture or importing of opaque incandescent bulbs and clear 100W light bulbs, with all remaining varieties being banned by 2012. This will force consumers to fit energy-saving bulbs and, as a result, increase the amount of ‘dirty electricity’ emitted into living environments making people sick.
However, fear not! For a new range of plug-in dirty electricity filters has been launched by Wireless-Protection.org to reduce or remove the symptoms of electrical sensitivity associated with energy-saving light bulbs and other electrical household appliances. Now, are the filters people friendly too?
