A New Award to Honour Global Health Care Excellence!
The Inaugural International Health Promotion Awards (IHPA) Symposium, sponsored by URAC and the Global Knowledge Exchange Network on Health Care (GKEN), will discover, recognize, reward and promote community and workplace initiatives that can dramatically improve health on December 6-7, 2010, in Rome, Italy. The Symposium will be attended by delegates from internationally recognized health care organizations, government agencies, charitable foundations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), health care associations and corporations. Awards will be given in two categories:
International Community Health Awards honor organizations committed to health promotion and education, or disease prevention. This award is open to community and non-governmental organizations, charitable foundations, nonprofit organizations, for profit companies, and government agencies. This award will include a $5,000 prize.
International Workplace Health Awards recognize health promotion programs that optimize and maintain overall health and mitigate risk in the workplace. This award is open to employers of any size, including for-profit companies, nonprofits, and government agencies.
NOMINATE
Finalists will be announced prior to the symposium and will receive an all-expense paid trip to present and share their program at the IHPA Symposium in Rome, Italy, December 6-7, 2010. Three winners will be announced in each category for a total of six global winners.
