i-genius is supporting Pearson’s new five year campaign to promote global literacy. The project is inviting people from all over the world to submit a brief description of a literacy project they have found particularly inspiring (it can be one you have run yourself, or something led by another organisation or individual), and to highlight a key literacy challenge that project addressed.
These stories will be promoted on a forthcoming website which will showcase inspiring projects to a wider audience and start a global debate around key literacy challenges faced by different groups. Technology, in particular, both emphasises the literacy divide yet offers new opportunities to bring about significant change.
