In anticipation of World Environment Day on June 5, the United Nations Environment Programme is hosting a blogging competition to raise awareness about this year’s theme of sustainable consumption. They’re also giving away a trip to Milan, Italy—which is the official host of World Environment Day 2015.

The author of the winning blog will be awarded two nights in Milan, plus plane tickets. World Environment Day will coalesce with the Expo Milano, a global exhibition which also focuses on the theme of sustainable food.

The blog post should be about some aspect of sustainable lifestyles and ethical consumption. To enter the contest, share your post on the UN Environment Programme’s Facebook page and email your entry. For the full competition details and useful resources for writing, click here. The deadline to enter is April 26th.

It’s OK if you don’t already have a personal blog, you can start one to enter. Consider making an account on Medium, Tumblr or WordPress. The goal of the blogging contest is to raise awareness about how everyone can help the environment by living more sustainably, so sharing your blog far and wide will count. You should consider sharing your post on Twitter, Facebook, and any other social media sites that you use.

If writing isn’t your thing, the UN Environment Programme is also hosting a logo design competition.
