The five winners of the Fit City competition presented their work at the Oxford Health Alliance summit on building a healthier future in Sydney

The five winners of the Fit City competition presented their work at the Oxford Health Alliance summit on building a healthier future in Sydney, Australia, 25-27th February.

The vignette included three films – Christa Clark Jones, United States “A Bicycle Story”; Joy Kwong, United States ” Community in the Philippines” and Ferdie Langdon, United Kingdom “Car free Day: Bogota to London. All three will be shown at the i-genius social film festival in Thailand.

Other winners were Barry Crisp’s poem “Heartbeat” based on open spaces and parks in his adopted city of Tokyo and Zdravko Trivic from Serbia produced a series of photographs from Singapore where he is studying entitled “Hospitalisation of public space”.

The winners were given a rapturous ovation by the Summit delegates for their unique work and Aussie celebrity Rob Moodie who anchored the proceedings said “fresh perspective like these are vital if we are to designs healthy cities of the future”
