Editor: How did you first hear about i-genius? And why did you choose to join the i-genius community?

Yadav: I am an enthusiastic individual striving to carry out several community development and awareness programme for the youth who are the future of society. I believe that young people can and do make a difference. Search engines helped me to find such prestigious organization.

I-genius helps people promote what they are doing, their work, their ideas, and their passion – and through our community, enables them to connect with others. I-genius also seeks to stimulate partnerships between its members and to support them by developing partnerships with established organizations (corporations, NGOs, government, media). I was very much impressed with i-genius and decided to join it and be a part of it.

Editor: What does WNSO do? And how does it achieve its main aims?

Yadav: Worldwide Nepalese Students’ Organization –Nepal (WNSO Nepal) is a non political, non-profit making, volunteer based social organization that networks the Nepalese Students all over the world. It was established with the slogan “Unifying Nepalese for Better Education” by few enthusiastic Nepalese students in UK in 2000 .

from its initial phase, WNSO has been working on behalf of Nepalese all over the world and for the welfare of society. It has become a well platform to learn various skills and go through the helpful spirit to-do-something. It supports students, youth and scholars to project their skills to gain better experience and to provide higher output for nation building. This organization has been spreading widely providing easy guidelines to the students for better education and required information.

Better considering the students as a ‘future of the nation’, WNSO is coming at front line carrying a mission to lead students for quality education and to enroll them into social transformation and Nation building. It exercised few years to orient public about organization through various activities. Under its uplifting recognition it extended its motto towards social transformation including capacity building of youth

Today, WNSO has emerged as an extensive umbrella network for students and professionals across the world irrespective of their beliefs, religion or ethnic origin aiming the progress of Nepal and Nepalese through various approaches by students and professionals. WNSO doesn’t have an affiliation with any corporate, political and other organizations. It has registered chapters in Nepal and the UK and it is established in 21 Countries with autonomous Country Committee.

Finally, our main purpose is to empowering youth through volunteerism .This will be achieved by mobilizing the volunteers n several activities.

Editor: Do you often make contact with other students Organization?

Yadav: Since WNSO Nepal is an organization working for the betterment of Nepalese Students throughout the World .We are always committed to work together with other students organization .Currently we are working in co-ordination with several eco clubs, youth clubs , NGOS ,INGOs , .We are also planning to work with organization with similar interests towards a common goal.

Editor: Do you have any news stories that you would like us to know about?

Yadav: The country has just witnessed a phenomenal and revolutionary change. The constituent Assembly poll was held successfully than people inside and outside the country had ever anticipated.

The first meeting of the constituent assembly will declare the Republic Nepal. The latest political development has aroused hopes and dreams in all the Nepalese Citizens. They are very much optimistic that the new constitution will put an end to the 240 years old monarchy and this will also put an end to all the social injustices, discriminations on the basis of race, colors and gender.

Editor: Do you have any events in your country that you would like i-genius to know about?

Yadav: The current education system of Nepal is not so satisfactory due to several reasons. Students often come across several hurdles and confusion while choosing their academic career .In this context WNSO Nepal initiated a campaign to sensitize the officers on the policy level regarding the improvement of academic environment .This campaign will try to draw gaps in education of concerned authorities towards the issues of gaps in educational policies of Nepal. The main objective of the campaign is to make an effort for the improvement of educational system.

Editor: Where do you see yourself in 10 years time and what will you be doing?

Yadav: Ten years from now, I see myself in between the people of rural villages of Nepal and I will be working for the betterment of Nepalese Society through some community development program.

Editor: If you could paint the world in three colors, what would they be and why?

Yadav: If I could paint the World in three colors, they would be Red, Blue and White. Because Red refers to change, blue refers to peace and white refers to simplicity. Besides, these are also the constituent colors of our National Flag.
