Stehpanie Man is a 20 year old MakeSense gangster from Hong Kong travelling around Asia in the quest of community-led social innovation. i-genius is the media partner for Stephanie Man’s epic Asia Sense Tour and we will be sharing her journey with our members, which starts from 6th Sept 2013 – (TBC) June 2014.

You’ll be able to follow Stephanie’s journey via her i-genius profile, and through our newsletters (so sign up, if you haven’t already done so via the right-hand column) with her own special column starting this September! Exclusively to i-genius, we will bring you a summary of her findings at the end of the tour, plus a special round up interview.

The project started with a dream of using business concepts to create social impact. Stephanie, a business student from Hong Kong, is going to take a gap year in 2013/14 to travel in Asia (Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Singapore). With the partnership of local social enterprises, she will engage local community through participatory design to make a difference WITH the community.
