nominations came from across the globe
Six workplace and community-based programs from around the globe that use innovative strategies to improve health and reduce the risk of chronic disease won honors last week in the 2011 International Health Promotion Awards (IHPA) competition, co-sponsored by URAC and the Care Continuum Alliance.
Last week’s winners were chosen by a panel of expert judges comprising health care professionals and policymakers from around the world. Finalists were evaluated by online submissions and their presentations at the Symposium.
i-genius would like to congratulate the six finalists who took home a prize at this year’s International Health Promotion Awards in Rome. Competition was tough with nominations showcasing amazing initiatives like online learning platforms for autism, anti-smoking campaigns to children and telehealth services bringing operating rooms instantly to remote locations.
