The Global Healthy Workplace Awards enable employers to benchmark their programs to the global standard and celebrate their outstanding achievement in promoting a safe and healthy work environment complementary to the business performance of the organisation. The Awards enable winners to distinguish themselves as an employer-of-choice when attracting new talent or in retaining existing employees. The quality of applications was exceptionally high with this year being the most arguably the most competitive with the judges having considerable difficulty in selecting the final six.

The Global Healthy Workplace Awards Summit brings together leaders in global health and well-being. It is organised by the Global Centre for Healthy Workplaces which is co-owned by Wolf Kirsten International Health Consulting and i-genius. The Awards launched in April 2013 with its first global Awards Summit taking place in London, 2013 followed by Shanghai, 2014, Florianopolis, 2015, Washington, DC, 2016, and Singapore, 2017.

The 6th Global Healthy Workplace Awards Summit is hosted in partnership with the Health Protection Agency of Bergamo. Bergamo is a wonderful historic city and a UNESCO World Heritage site, approximately 40 km from Milan. Bringing together leaders in global health and well-being for the advancement of workplace health, the 6th Global Summit promises to be an exciting event.

The Summit will follow a half day Global Alliance Roundtable (invitation only) on 6th September, which is co-hosted by the GCHW and FIESC/SESI.
