Policy Makers, Community Enterprise Challenge Winners, Academics and Journalists from Indonesia

Under the Skills for Social Entrepreneurs (SfSE) programme the British Council Indonesia invited a rich mix of Indonesian policy makers, entrepreneurs and media to explore social entrepreneurship and innovation in the UK on a study tour organised and hosted by i-genius.

During the four-day study tour in London and Northampton, i-genius and the British Council Indonesia delegation met with the British Council UK, Big Society Capital, NESTA, Coin Street Community Builders, Social Enterprise UK, Uptown Biodesel, UK Cabinet Office, The Young Foundation, Pioneers Post, The Social Stock Exchange, University of Northampton and UnLtd to explore the UK’s edge on social entrepreneurship within education, government and legal arrangements around social innovation, and how social businesses engage with political representatives and big businesses.
